Covering 1,978 km², Queen Elizabeth National Park is Uganda’s most popular safari destination. Established in 1952, it is renowned for its tree-climbing lions in Ishasha and the famous Kazinga Channel linking Lake Edward and Lake George.
The park supports an incredible variety of wildlife, including elephants, leopards, buffaloes, hippos, and over 600 bird species. Visitors can enjoy game drives, boat cruises, and scenic views across savannah plains, wetlands, and crater lakes.
